All moves are subject to a two hour minimum charge, and an hourly rate thereafter. The clock starts upon arrival and remains on for the loading, driving to next location, and unloading. We pro-rate by the half hour (example: two hours and five minutes becomes two and a half hours) If a lunch break is taken, it must be documented on this contract, and the time will be deducted from the total hours unless the customer should choose to pay for this time as a gratuity. Any quotes or estimates that may have been received are simply estimates, and not a guarantee that charges will not exceed the specified amount. No discounts will be given if a second trip is required. Every move is different, therefore any prior moving experience is irrelevant in relation to amount of hours worked. We work rain or shine, and we will not be liable for any delays or damages due to bad weather.
A $25 deposit is taken via credit/debit card upon reservation. That deposit is nonrefundable should the customer cancel the job at any time. There is no grace period. However, the customer may reschedule to any other available date or time provided that we receive at least a 24 hour notice before the date of scheduled move, so that we may be afforded the opportunity to fill the vacancy. If the customer cancels or reschedules with less than a 24 hour notice, the $25 deposit is held and an additional $75 is due immediately totalling $100. Otherwise, the initial $25 deposit will be deducted from the two hour minimum charge and the difference is due in CASH ONLY BEFORE THE JOB BEGINS. Any balance beyond the two hour minimum is due at completion of the job by cash as well. Should the customer decide to pay all or any portion of the move by credit or debit, they will no longer be eligible for the discounted cash rate. Cash rates are valid for any customer paying ALL CASH on the day of the move. Absolutely no checks. The company reserves the right to stop the job at any time for any reason, and may require payment in full before completion of the job (i.e. unsanitary working conditions that may be hazardous to ones health, conflict between one or more tenants of the residence, or any other reason that prevents the movers from completing their job safely.)
